Shower Glass in Jumeirah Park
Jumeirah Park is a villa community through and through — detached family homes across the Legacy, Regional and Legacy Nova districts, most with a master ensuite, family bathrooms and a guest bathroom to think about. That makes it new-install and upgrade country as much as repair country: ensuites with the floor space to plan a proper enclosure, corner showers that need a layout decision rather than a catalogue door, and family bathrooms still living with a shower over the bath. We measure, make and fit custom shower glass across all the districts — 10mm glass, hardware in chrome, black or gold — and we repair what is already there as honestly as we fit new. Send photos of your bathroom on WhatsApp and the conversation starts there.

The districts we cover in Jumeirah Park
- Legacy — the district the community grew from; established villas where the work splits between upgrading original enclosures and repairing the doors, hinges and seals that have been in daily use for years.
- Regional — family villas in the same mould: generous master ensuites that suit hinged doors and fixed-plus-door layouts, and family bathrooms where a bath screen usually replaces a curtain.
- Legacy Nova — the newer district name in the community; villas being finished and personalised, where glass is often fitted or upgraded as homes are completed and first occupied.
Not sure which district label your villa sits under? It makes no difference to coverage — if the house is in Jumeirah Park, it is covered. Message us with your street or cluster and we will confirm.

What we do in Jumeirah Park
- New shower glass installation — made-to-measure partitions and enclosures, planned around your opening and your tiles.
- Shower glass repair — leaks, dragging doors, worn seals and tired hardware, diagnosed from photos first.
- Hinged doors — wall-to-glass and glass-to-glass doors; the natural fit for a villa ensuite with swing clearance.
- Sliding doors — for guest bathrooms and tighter family bathrooms where a swing arc has nowhere to go.
- Screens & fixed walk-in glass — one calm panel, no door, sized against the real splash zone of the room.
- Bathtub glass screens — fixed and hinged screens sealed at the bath edge, instead of a curtain.
- Prices, honestly explained — how the pricing works and what moves a quote up or down. (This page carries no figures of its own.)
Typical Jumeirah Park bathrooms, and what goes wrong
A Jumeirah Park villa usually means several bathrooms doing different jobs, and the glass work follows that pattern. The master ensuite is the planning showcase: the largest opening in the house, often a corner or L-shaped layout, where the choice between a hinged door, a fixed panel with a door hung from it, or a walk-in screen is a genuine layout decision — our guide to corner and L-shaped enclosure layouts works through how that decision is made, and hinged doors in corner showers have their own guide for the door itself. Family bathrooms tend to be shower-over-bath or a compact enclosure, where a bath screen or a sliding door earns its place. Guest bathrooms are the smallest rooms in the house and are usually solved with whatever asks least of the floor space.
What goes wrong is the standard villa pattern rather than anything unique to the community: hinged doors that have dropped on their hinges until they drag or no longer meet their seals; seals and silicone hardened and blackened in a wet room that is used every day; handles worked loose; and enclosures that were fitted with an open gap that has never kept water in. The hinge question — adjust, repair or replace — is covered in our broken or worn shower hinges guide; the short version is that dropped doors and perished seals are repairs while the glass itself is sound, and we will say so before anyone talks about new glass.

How it works
- Send photos on WhatsApp — wide shots of the shower or bath, a close-up of any fault, your rough sizes and your district. Most quotes and diagnoses start there.
- We measure — the opening is the specification. True widths, levels and swing or slide paths are checked on site before any glass is cut.
- Glass is made — panels are cut and finished to those measurements, with hardware matched to your chosen finish.
- Install and seal — fitted and aligned on the day; water testing and first use follow the sealant’s curing time, confirmed in writing at handover; a repair is checked with you watching.
Frequently asked questions
We have several bathrooms to do — can the glass be planned as one job?
Yes, and in a villa that is usually the right way: the ensuite, family bathrooms and guest bathroom are measured in one visit, specified to match in glass and hardware finish, and fitted as one programme of work. Send photos of each room and we will plan the sequence with you.
Our ensuite shower is a corner layout — hinged, sliding or a fixed screen?
It depends on the two run lengths, where the door swing would land, and how much entry width each option leaves — which is why corner layouts are decided at measurement. As a starting point: corner ensuites with room to swing usually suit a hinged door; tight corners favour sliding or a fixed panel.
The shower door in our Legacy villa drags and leaks at the bottom. Repair or replace?
Usually a repair: dragging means the door has dropped on its hinges, and leaking at that point is typically perished seals and silicone. All three are standard repairs while the glass is sound. Send a photo and a short video of the door moving and we will give you the verdict before a visit is booked.
Can a door be added to our fixed panel that has an open gap?
In most cases, yes: a hinged door can be hung glass-to-glass from the existing fixed panel, closing the gap the panel left open. The existing panel is checked and measured first — if it is not sound enough to hang a door from, we will say so and quote the alternative.
We are renovating — when in the sequence should the glass be measured?
After the tiling is finished. Glass is made to the finished opening, not to the pre-tile measurements or the builder’s drawing, which is where ill-fitting enclosures usually start. Message us when your tiler is done and we will book the measure.
